Traditional X Contemporary

This rug is hand knotted in Afghanistan by skilled weavers. Hand spun wool is used with natural dyes then the rug is lovingly washed and finished. Each piece is completely unique and individually made.

Handmade in a contemporary colour palette of soft muted colours with a classic Ziegler Mahal design that is faded into the background. These rugs have undergone a extra washing process that makes them soft and silky with a tight full pile and a "ghost" design.
